Job Description
  • Ensures effective cost control by projecting material handling and transportation costs, development of improved materials handling methods, and effective training and utilization of warehouse personnel.
  • Develops and implements an inspection and service program for all vehicles used in warehouse, cooler and sales departments.
  • Recommends staffing needs selects and assigns personnel according to authorized staffing levels.
  • Plans an overall work program for the warehouse, including specific workload schedules for bottle sorting, materials handling, loading, unloading, reloading, housekeeping, checking and vehicle maintenance.
  • Co-ordinates shipments from predetermined destinations via Company-owned transports and schedules receipts
  • Develops and implements an inspection and service program for all vehicles used in warehouse, cooler and sales departments.
  • Recommends staffing needs selects and assigns personnel according to authorized staffing levels.
  • Organization of filled goods and raw materials within the warehouse.
  • Supervision of receiving and dispatch of, all raw materials and filled goods.
  • Arrange the provision of export documents as required.
  • Provide timely Shipping Schedules to meet the needs of the Sales Department.
  • Effective management of all warehouse forklift resources and monitoring of forklift maintenance.
  • Co-ordination of the transport of Company products and assets between Sales Depots.
