Direct all aspects of the financial function of the bank in accordance with IAS, companies' law and regulatory bodies. Assist management in budget planning and performance. Play a proactive and creative role in adding value to business. Key Responsibilities
2. Periodical MIS & budgeting reports: review and discuss related reports within the dept for any variances or deviations.
3. Coordination with other businesses: hold meetings with senior management or business heads to discuss budgeting or business issues.
4. Results and financial position: present the budget results and overall financial position of the bank to senior management and the board.
5. Management accounting policies / framework: ensure proper implementation of management's policies which mitigate the risk of unrecorded liabilities or over statement/ understatement of assets and liabilities.
6. Financial and regulatory reporting: ensure proper review and timely submission of financial and regulatory reporting.
7. Year and financials: Coordinate with external auditor's smooth probation and timely submission of the audited F/S of the bank.
