Develops, and directs all sales marketing activity in an organization. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales marketing plans to drive revenue and distribution; managing research initiatives which include monitoring and reporting audience measurement data & syndicated research; creation and maintenance of sales collateral materials and presentations for field use; and planning and managing advertising events, sponsorships, and trade advertising. A chief sales officer may be accountable for developing and implementing account management plans for existing large major accounts in coordination with individual account managers and the executive management team. |
